Abstract

The development of a region must be monitored in order to develop in accordance with the plan that has been formulated in the Spatial Plan of the Region, one of the development of industrial land which basically requires a large area, then in spatial planning in the specify some districts as industrial designation area. Pedan district which became the District with the second largest industrial area in Klaten regency. The purpose of this research is to know the distribution of industrial land in Pedan district (1), to evaluate the suitability of existing industrial land with Spatial Plan in Pedan District (2). Distribution of industrial land in each village with total number of villages with total area of industrial land that is Torketo village with area 31,498 Ha, then village of Kalangan 12, 041 Ha, Beji village 6,951 Ha, Keden village 6,823 Ha, Kaligawe village 6,509 Ha, Tambakboyo village 6.145 Ha, 5.182 Ha, 5.162 Ha, 4.179 Ha of Bendo village, 3.158 Ha of Temuwangi village, 3.398 Ha of Jatimulyo village, 3.291 Ha of Jetiswetan village, 2.093 Ha Ngaren village, Lemahireng 1.985 Ha village, and villages with the smallest industrial land spread of Sobayan village with total area of 1.035 Ha. Calculation of industrial land suitability level using qualitative SIG method, to know the level of conformity of existing industrial land, Industrial land suitability level in Pedan district equal to 75% or equal to 71,353 Ha from total area of industrial land available. The village of Troketon has the largest area of industrial land in accordance with the Spatial Planning of 43.34% or 28.556 Ha. The level of non-conformity of industrial land in Pedan district is 25% or 23,364 ha, Beji village becomes a village with industrial land area that is not in accordance with the largest Regional Spatial Plan with value 24,90% or equal to 5,818 Ha. These results indicate the need for an evaluation of the spread of industrial land in the region to be in accordance with the Regional Spatial Planning with Pedan District as an industrial allotment area in the administrative area of Klaten regency.
