Abstract
This study aims to: (1) Know the level of understanding of Integrated IPS module sub - sub theme of number and density of Indonesia class VII, (2) Know the quality of research modules developed based on 2 expert assessment, (3) to know the result of student response to the module. Research includes research development (Research and Development). Instrument assessment of product quality development of teaching materials based on content / material criteria, presentation and graphics. This product assessment of instructional materials development using descriptive qualitative analysis design. The results of this study successfully developed IPS Module of Material Number and Population Density of Indonesia for students of Class VII SMP. The quality of the module based on the module rating according to one material expert is Good (B) with an average rating of 3. The quality of the module based on the expert resource assessment is good (B) and the assessment by 1 teacher Ips is Good (B) with average value 3. Based on the assessment obtained, the module is feasible to be used for the learning process Ips can also be used by students as one of Ips teaching materials.
