Abstract

Many patients mental disorder weight to lack of medical treatment caused by family had reason to memasung members of families that experienced the mental disorder .It was because the low intense factors , efficacy self and norma subjective family towards patients mental disorder .This study aims to determine whether there is influence of health promotion to improve the intention, self efficacy, and subjective norms to prevent relapse and deprivation of the family in Sukoharjo District. This research is a quantitative research using one-group design pre-post test design. The population of this study were 32 families whose family members were mentally ill patients in Sukoharjo District. The sample of the study were 32 families determined using total sampling technique. The research data collection using questionnaire instrument, while data analysis using paired sample t-test. The conclusion of the study is that there is a significant influence of health promotion on the improvement of intention, self efficacy and subjective norms about preventing relapses and mental illness patients in the family of mental patients in Sukoharjo regency.
