Abstract

The development of industry in Indonesia is now more advanced and developed it has not been balanced with the awareness to understand and implement safety properly can be able to overcome the accident. PT. Aneka Adhilogam Karya Ceper Klaten is a foundry industry including in national small industry which has a high risk in work accidents. The purpose of this research is to analyze the correlation between compliance work instruction and work accident at the production part in PT. Aneka Adhilogam Karya Ceper Klaten. The design of this research is observational quantitative study using cross sectional approach. The research population is 74 workers, with a minimum sample is 65 respondents. This research conducts sample by using total sampling. From the result of the research, it is found that the workers who are obedient to work instruction have work accident as many as 14 people (45,2 %), while the non-obedience to work instruction has accident of 17 people (50,0%). The result of statistical test using chi-square shows that there is no correlation between work instruction compliance and work accident incident (p = 0,887) to production worker of PT. Aneka Adhilogam Karya, Ceper, Klaten.
