Abstract
This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the absorption of labor in Semarang Regency as the case study. These factors include education level, unemployment rate, and population Analysis tool used in this research is pooled data analysis or also called longitudinal data, is a combination of cross section data and time series data. The results of this study indicate the population and unemployment variables have a significant influence on the absorption of labor, while the education level variables do not have a significant influence on the absorption of labor among sub-district in the city of Semarang 2010 – 2014 Keywords : employment, population, education level, unemployment rate
