Abstract
This research aims to 1) Describes the characteristics of spatial workshop at SMK Negeri 2 Sragen, 2) Describes the characteristics of use of props in learning the technique of machining at SMK Negeri 2 Sragen, 3) Describe the interaction between students with teachers in learning the technique of machining at SMK Negeri 2 Sragen. This research was conducted by using a qualitative approach. The data in this research in the form of words and results. As for steps data analysis include: data collection, data Presentation, data Reduction, and the withdrawal of the conclusion. The results showed: 1) characteristics of the spatial workshop at SMK Negeri 2 Sragen is equipped with many different samples yield as a medium of learning and place on cupboards results practice. Machining practice learning spaces are divided into several spaces include: work bench area, room measurements and testing, metal lathe work area, work area, work area frais machine machine grinding machine, drill, pengepasan work space, storage space and instructors. 2) for multimedia props overhead projector and LCD use of props in learning the practice of engineering products including: grinding, hand rivet hand, twisted term, term, term sliding feet, drill machine, lathe machine, fris upright, machine, machine, universal fris gerenda, machine saws, engines, scrap steel mestar (1 m), micrometers, snei, stalk stalk tap, sney 10 m, squitmatch, asitilin, scissors hand generators straight , vise, regulator, transformer, and diesel electric welding transformers. 3) students in learning the theory of machining, preceded by preparing stationery and book theory of machining. Students depending on the activity of teaching and learning methods used teacher students in learning the practice of engineering products, beginning with the preparation of students wearing work clothes, preparing tools and materials practice Activities of teachers in learning the theory begins with preparing learning device, source materials and props, while also paying attention to teacher preparedness and readiness class students.
