Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the ability to make up student, (2) find out the mistake used by student in grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Karanganom ini writing. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, data analysis is done by data analysis technique that is reading student essay, analyze and conclude research result. The result of this research is student essay essay. From the result of this research analysis errors contained in the essay description of student of class VIII student SMP Negeri 1 Karanganom covering the field of (a) meaning relations, (b) morphological processes and (c) symptoms of laguage. The total percentage of the overall error type is 1.253 %. The result showed that the ability to make the student of the state SMP Negeri 1 Karanganom has been pretty well proven because the mistake of diction on the essay of grade VIII student SMP Negeri 1 Karanganom very small.
