Abstract

Background: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is a syndrome suppression the caused by the compression or traction of the median nerve in the carpal tunnel at the wrist. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome dextra is carpal tunnel syndrome that the right-hand section. Signs and symptoms found thick flavor, tenderness, and impaled on the fingers, especially the thumb, forefinger, and middle finger. Management of physiotherapy in the case of carpal tunnel syndrome can reduce pain, and can increase of the area of motion and muscle strength. Objective: To know the benefits of exercise therapy in the form of : a) Infra Red helpful to reduce pain, b) Ultra Sound helpful to reduce pain, c) Tendo Glide helpful increase muscle strength and improve range of motion Result: For pain with VDS: tenderness T1: 4 to T5: 3, and motion pain T1: 3 to T5: 2. For muscle strength with MMT: muscle flexor and extensor T1: -3 to T5: 4, ulnar and radial deviation T1: 5 to T5: 5. For LGS: aktive wrist dextra T1: S 45° - 0° - 50° to T5: S 55° - 0° - 50°, passive wrist dextra T1: S 50° - 0° - 55° to T5: S 55° - 0° - 60°. Conclusion: Management of physiotherapy on condition carpal tunnel syndrome with infrared, ultrasound, and exercise therapy used five times showed a decrease in pain, edema, increased LGS, and muscle strength.
