Abstract
Miss Asama Waebuesa. Q 100 150 072 Learning Leadership Indonesian Language for Foreign Speaker at UniversitasMuhammadiyah Surakarta. Magister Program. Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. 2017.There are three objectives of this research. Firstly, to describe the learning leadership of structure BIPA at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta.secondly, to describe the learning leadership of figure BIPA at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. And thirdly, to explain the leadership of learning’s culture BIPA at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta.The method of this research is qualitative method by ethnography design. The place of this research is at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The duration of this research for 9 months, it started December 2016 to August 2017. The technique of collecting data is deepest interview, observation and documentation. The validate data by source triangulation and methodological triangulation. The data analysis with interactive technique by reduction data processes, data analysis and conclusion. The result of this research shows firstly, the leadership structure of BIPA UMS during this time under the Field of Language of the Institute for Development of Basic Science (LPIDB) Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Secondly, the leadership figures of BIPA at this time especially in the lead-up period of BIPA leaders belong to the type of democratic leadership. BIPA leadership figure is a leader figure in the eyes of his subordinates is a leader who has solidarity to employees, creative, full of initiative and responsible in making decisions.Thirdly, the leadership culture is created by BIPA leadership shows in process making decisions, implementation of supervise and BIPA element s relation system. The culture of leadership in making decisions made in the meeting indicates that BIPA leaders' compromise on opinions, suggestions and input from subordinates.Leadership culture in BIPA in the form of relation elements in BIPA is described as putting forward the proximity of all elements in BIPA, such as leaders, lecturers, administrators and students.
