Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between self efficacy and peer interaction with academic procrastination in students taking a practicum course. the relationship between self efficacy with academic procrastination, the relationship between peer interaction with academic procrastination, level of self efficacy, peer interaction level, Academic procrastination, an effective contribution between self-efficacy and peer interaction with academic procrastination. The method used is quantitative. The subject of this research is a student of Faculty of Psychology at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta who is taking a practicum course. The population in this study amounted to 842 students with the number of samples for the study of 89 students. The sampling technique used in this study is proportional random sampling. Methods of data collection using self-efficacy scale, peer interaction scale and academic procrastination scales. Data analysis techniques used multiple regression. The results obtained (a) There is a very significant influence between self efficacy and peer interaction with academic procrastination (r = 0,568, p = 0,000); (B) There is a significant negative relationship between self efficacy and academic procrastination (r = -0.566, p = 0,000); (C) There is a significant negative relationship between peer interactions and academic procrastination (r = -0.378, p = 0,000). The effective contribution given by the variable self efficacy and peer interactions with academic procrastination is shown by R = 0.322 or 32.2%. This means that there are still 67.8% other factors affecting student academic procrastination. Keywords: Self Efficacy, Peer Interaction, Academic Procrastination, Practicum Students
