Abstract

This research aims to know the difference between learning creativity of students in classes that use cooperative learning model of type student teams achievement division (STAD) with a class that does not use cooperative learning model of type student teams achievement division (STAD), on Economic subjects. The subjects in this study are students of class XI SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo 2016/2017 school year. Class XI IPS 3 amounted to 35 students as a class controls that were not given the treatment using cooperative learning model type STAD and class XI IPS 4 as class experiments were given treatment learning model cooperative STAD. Method of data collection was done through observation, tests, and documentation. To test the instrument in the form of a test using validity and reliability tests. To technique of data analysis prerequisite test using homogenity and normality test. Data analysis technique to test the hypothesis in this study using a t test. The results showed that the existence of differences of creativity the students on Economic subjects among students who learn to use cooperative learning model type STAD. It can be seen from the average value of the final tests and observations of class XI IPS 3 as a class control that does not use cooperative learning model type STAD was 74,29 and 1,03. While the average rating for the final tests and observations of class XI IPS 4 as class experiment using cooperative learning model type STAD was 79,94 and 10,86. This research concluded that the creativity of students who learn to use cooperative learning model type STAD is better compared to the creativity of students who learn not to use cooperative learning model type STAD.
