Abstract

This study aims to (1) know the implementation of quality assurance in SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta. (2) guidance of obstacles in implementing quality assurance at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta. (3) To know the solution to overcome obstacles in the implementation of quality assurance in SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta. This type of research is qualitative research. The data collection technique used. Informants in this research are principals, employees, and teachers grade 1, 5, 6. Data is analyzed through data reduction measures, data presentation, and data withdrawal. Technique of examination of data validity is done by source triangulation. The results showed: (1) implementation of quality assurance in SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta has been running well. This can be proved by the achievement of the overall standard of education that has been done SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta. (2) the related barriers in the quality assurance system at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan there are 2 curriculum applied, time allocation, and financing (3) solution done to overcome the barrier of quality assurance system at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta procurement of different programs, Monitor learning, develop school-owned enterprises.
