Abstract

The aim of this research is to description : 1) Implementation of interpersonal communication between headmaster and teacher in SD Muhammadiyah 19 Surakarta, 2) Inhibition and Support in interpersonal communication between headmaster and teacher at SD Muhammadiyah 19 Surakarta, 3) Efforts Done to overcome obstacles of interpersonal communication between headmaster and teacher at SD Muhammadiyah 19 Surakarta. This research type is qualitative research with case study research design. Informants of this research are principals and teachers. Technical data used are observation, interview, and documentation. The validity of this research data using source and technique triangulation. The results showed: 1) Implementation of interpersonal communication between the principal and teachers at SD Muhammadiyah 19 Surakarta has been done routinely and continuously. Interpersonal communication between the principal and teachers is done directly and indirectly, direct communication is not directly through communication media that is used through the media of mobile phone (sms, whatsapp, phone) this principal with the teacher can easily share information, 2) factors Support the implementation of interpersonal communication in SD Muhammadiyah 19 Surakarta scope: a good communication climate between the principal with teachers, communication media that are available and the loyalty and dedication of each teacher. There is a sense of openness between the principal and the teacher as when there is a problem in the work can be done jointly, the communication media that is available, is in a distance far enough communication between the principal with the teacher can run smoothly, 3) Is done to overcome the hamabatan interpersonal communication implementation in SD Muhammadiyah 19 Surakarta, among others, principals and teachers seek loose time to hold meetings in order to meet face to convey information about students or other interests in the school environment, and the existence of supervision meetings or meetings The principal and teachers' head office every Saturday to solve the problems or obstacles experienced by you / teacher in performing their duties at SD Muhammadiyah 19 Kemlayan.
