Abstract

This study aims to describe 1) planning of School-Based Quality Improvement Management (MPMBS). 2) implementation of School-Based Quality Improvement Management (MPMBS). 3) Principal's role in applying School-Based Quality Improvement Management 4) Principal efforts in facing obstacles in implementing School-Based Quality Improvement Management. This type of research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. Techniques are analyzed through interactive analysis. Technique examination of data validity is done by technique triangulation of source and technique. The results of the study indicate that 1) School-Based Quality Improvement Management Planning (MPMBS): a) having objectives and direction b) utilizing resources at school c) comprehensive d) flexible, 2) Implementing School-Based Quality Improvement Management (MPMBS): a) Organizing b) Organizing SBM according to the field, authority, subjects and responsibilities c) Conducting Briefing with the principle of e) conducting directives: Orientation, Command, delegation of authority, 3) Role of Principal in MPMBS include: a) leader, manager, elevator , And motivators. 4) Principal efforts in facing obstacles in applying School-Based Quality Improvement Management: a) Coordinate and cooperate with school committee councils, parent associations, and related parties. B) Conduct management transparency and implement Paikem school
