Abstract

The leadership style by nursing low manager can affect to application of nurse’s perfomance. Leadership style of nursing low manager can be influenced by length of work of the nursing low manager. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the length of work on leadership style nursing low manager base on type of the perception of nursing staffs. This research is a quantitative with descriptive correlative design. The sample used are 43 nurses and 8 nursing low manager. This study uses a questionnaire tool that refers from Stephen Robbins, a questionnaire about the style of leadership with 18 questions. Data analysis using statistical test of partial correlation and got correlation value (r) in this research equal to 0,358 which mean direction correlation with positive and low strength, while. Result of research indicate that was correlation between length of work with leadership style of the nursing low managger according to perception of nursing staffs.
