Abstract
This research aims to: (1) Describe the process of school culture program implementation in instilling religious character in SD Muhammadiyah 13 Serengan. (2) Describe the implementation of school culture program in SD Muhammadiyah 13 Serengan. (3) Describe the implementation of religious character in SD Muhammadiyah 13 Serengan. (4) Describe the implementation of school culture program in inculcating the religious character of upper class student of Muhammadiyah 13 Serengan. (5) Describe the obstacles and solutions in the implementation of the school culture program in instilling religious character in the Muhammadiyah 13 Serengan elementary school students. This research belongs to qualitative research of phenomenology. The speakers in this research are principal, fourth grade teacher, V, VI, and upper class students. Technique of collecting data is done by interview, observation and documentation.. The results showed that: (1) school culture program integrated in daily life. (2) the application of school culture is emphasized on Islamic culture. (3) religious character is instilled through the school culture. (4) the application of school culture is implemented through 4 activities, (5) obstacles faced in the implementation of this program is the gap between the culture at school and at home students. .
