Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an increase in student learning activity on the subjects of workshop and entrepreneurship through learning model numbered head together and snowaball in class XI RPL 2 in Smk Muhammadiyah 1 Sukaharjo. The type of research used is classroom action research method. This type of research is a Class Action Research (PTK) conducted in collaboration between teachers and researchers in an effort to improve student learning activities through the model of learning numbered head together and snowball. The implementation of PTK starts from the first silkus consisting of four activities. When it is known that the location of the success and the obstacles of the action carried out from the first cycle the teacher can determine the design for the second cycle. Activities in the second cycle can be the same activity with the previous activity when it is intended to repeat the success or to ensure the results. The results of the second cycle are less meet the targets to be achieved. The conclusions can be drawn from this research are: the use of two methods, numbered head together and snowball method, it is seen that the increase of student learning outcomes on subtema craft hardware has increased.
