Abstract

The book is something special because it is eternal and not consumed by time. Used as a reference book as well as knowledge - knowledge for the present and future. Many book sales centers spread throughout Indonesia first solo. And the city of Solo as well as a barometer of the development of Islam in Indonesia so it is on account of its existence. With the rapid development of the Islamic religion there but not border with the facilities that support the needs of Muslims in demanding a science. The concept of mass Travel Centers Islamic Books in Surakarta as a tourist, educational and development center of Islamic books that present facilities in which to support needs as the ummah of Islam that provides a means of knowledge, recreation to commercial. In order mass Islamic Book Tour in Surakarta using the principle or approach desaign environmentally friendly architecture. Konsepini is right, because in Islam book this tour will take a lot of waste paper issued a later printing of books right concept, because in Islam book this tour will take a lot of waste paper issued a book printing later. And also in terms of physical own use materials or materials that are environmentally friendly while reducing the impactofpollution.
