Abstract

Surakarta Baking Center is a place that accommodate and facilitate the community in the field of baking activities, and provides a bakery cafe and retail as a supporting activity and promotion. Based on the problems faced, the authors will design the building of Surakarta Baking Center as a facility that accommodates baking activities, especially for baking enthusiasts and prospective entrepreneurs who want to start business in the field of food. To achieve that goal, the concept of Surakarta Baking Center by formulating the idea of planning, site concept, space concept, concept of architectural appearance, structure concept, interior concept, space conditioning and utility concept. Surakarta Baking Center as a place to accommodate creativity and ideas in the field of baking and also can be enjoyed by the people of Surakarta and surrounding areas. In line with the ideas of authors, with the passage of time may Surakarta Baking Center can be useful and useful for the people of Surakarta and surrounding areas.
