Abstract
Poltekkes Health Ministry Rectorate Building of Banten provincial is a very important place, besides being used as the office of rector and its staff, the rectorate building is also used as a place for student services. In the construction of the rectorate building, there are several supporting elements that must be prepared, one of which is about mechanical and electrical that can’t be separated from the use of buildings such as electrical installation design using AutoCAD software, determining the number of light points, air conditioner, plumbing system, Fire extinguishers, elevators, lightning rods, and the required electrical power capacity. Good installation is expected to support the comfort and smoothness of all activities inside the building. Several stages in planning such as floor plan analysis, building installation design, and determination of materials needed. The result of the planning shows Poltekkes Health Ministry Rectorate Building of Banten has a total current of 627.34 A and using the main safety of MCCB 650 A with NYY 4 x 1 x 300. It also requires clean water capacity of 75.2 m3 / day and groundtank dimension of 20 x 20 x 3 meters that can hold water for 2 days at 1300 m3.
