Abstract

This study aims to: 1) To description of the implementation of leadership of the principal in carrying out its function to improve the quality of education; 2) To description the role of headmaster leadership to face the constraints of increasing the quality of education with the limitation of student interest; 3) To description the achievements achieved by the leadership style they have. The type of this research is qualitative research with case study research design. Informants of this research are principals and teachers. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation. The validity of this research data using source and technique triangulation. Research result; 1) Principal master the democratic leadership style that can be seen from the utilization and use of existing resources and which can be held efficiently and effectively to achieve the vision and mission of the school. 2) The principal in carrying out his duties in improving the quality of education seen in terms of academic achievement, facilities and infrastructure principals act not only an accumulator who collects a variety of potential businessman, teachers, employees and learners but the managerial conceptors who are responsible for the contribution Each for the effectiveness and effectiveness of continuity of education, 3) Achievements achieved by school leadership style SDN Pilang II principal quite a lot through some activities that are curricular, co curricular and extracurricular that can be viewed from the way medisiplinkan educators, increasing hours of learner , Extra-curricular activities as well as holding special tutoring and tutoring if there are children who have difficulty in receiving material from teachers. It also provides various needs that are needed in learning such as adequate facilities and infrastructure
