Abstract

In an effort to improve the quality of medical and health education of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS) needs to be planned as Education Hospital to be able to synergize with the University. Currently, the hospitals used by UMS students in practice are two different institutions. Therefore the need of UMS Education Hospital to provide facilities and complete facilities in practice education activities. The hope in the development of the Education Hospital is able to improve the standard of public service and the prospective doctors and health workers. To achieve this, of course, a mature and complex planning needs to be considered in order that education and practice activities are able to synergize well. Spatial planning must also be able to synergize between educational activities and public health services. Approach of architectural facade design with reference to UMS design characteristic. So the public can recognize the building as the identity of UMS. It is hoped that through this plan, it can become a design proposal for UMS in planning the Education Hospital.
