Abstract
The phenomenon of children dropping out of school becomes a concern at this point. When we look for the root of the problem, it is mostly due to poverty, economic inability and low understanding of the importance of education for the future. With poverty also many people finally decided to no longer seek knowledge at school and choose to work badaanya sajat. Many schools or educational institutions, instead, make it as a commercial field. This makes it more difficult for poor people to pursue schooling. Therefore, Smart House is designed as Non Formal Education Facility for Dhuafa In Surakarta. The objectives are 1) Creating a learning house with a safe and comfortable Islamic architecture approach for dropouts. 2) Establish the attitudes and behavior of dropout children to be in accordance with the rules of religion and norms applicable in the community. 3) Giving Various alter Alternative services to meet the needs of children and prepare for the future so that it becomes a productive society. The method used is to solve the problems that exist in the present in the field by collecting data, compile, clarify and interpret the data. Keywords: School Dropouts, Dhuafa, Non Formal Education
