Abstract

Learning achievement is the result shown by the students after doing the teaching and learning process. Learning achievement is usually shown by the value of numbers as a report of learners' learning outcomes to their parents. Good achievement is an effort that is not easy because the learning achievement can be influenced by various factors, both internal factors and external factors. In formal education, the school is an educational institution that is very important in determining the success of student learning, therefore the school established several programs to meet the needs of students and parents, to achieve the goals to be achieved. Many schools programmed to enable teachers to monitor and educate learners in the classroom or outside the classroom, such as schools that have boarding programs in which students are monitored by teachers for 24 each day. However, the difference of school must be different also its program and very influential to the difference of learning achievement result of learners. Based on this background, the purpose of this study is to know: How the achievement of learning Islamic Religious Education in class 2A in MTs Ta'mirul Islam Surakarta with class 8 PK1 in MTs N 1 Surakarta and What are the factors that cause the Achievement of Learning Islamic Religious Education is different. This research was conducted in MTs Ta'mirul Islam Surakarta and in MTs Negeri 1 Surakarta and this research was included in comparative research. The object of this study was taken from students of class 2A MTs Ta'mirul Islam and 8PK1MTs N 1 Surakarta . In the data collection this research using interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that there was a difference in the learning achievement of Islamic religious education with the average grade of 2A Ta'mirul Islam average grade score reached 7.1 out of 30 students with the highest student average was 9.0 and the lowest with the average Average 5.3. While the grade 8PK1 MTs N 1 grade average score reached 87.8 out of 24 students with the highest student average was 93.25 and the lowest with an average of 84.5. The difference in learning achievement is caused by several factors including: environmental factors, language, facilities and infrastructure, classroom atmosphere, and interest in learning from students.
