Abstract

Traffic signs is one of the few fixtures highway consisting of letters, numbers, symbols, sentences or a mix of them which serves as a warning, prohibition, instruction and guidance for road users. The Augmented Reality technology can be used as a medium of learning is interesting to learn, such as by building and designing learning application with Augmented Reality technology by using SDCL (System Development Life Cycle) methode. To make these applications need a Unity 3D software and Vuforia SDK to build Augmented Reality SDK and software Blender is needed to create a 3D animated objects. Results of application reseach were tested to students in grades 3 SDN Kelaten 1 Sragen. This test is applied by running the application directly. Based on the 35 questionnaire respondents can attract and help students learn about the traffic signs. Based on test results 90% of students stated this application interesting and 93% of students stated this application can help students better recognize traffic signs.
