Abstract
Main pump excavator is a main component that serves change mechanical energy into hydraulic energy then distributed into a hydraulic system. Analysis of the aims to understand the workings of the pump operate, analyzes damage as well as a contributing factor, make the repair and prevention recommend step damage the main pump. The procedure inspection carried out by doing performance test consisting of operating speeds test and pressure test. Furthur analysis performance test results, analysis of visual inner part main pump damaged, analysis cause damage using fishbone diagram. The result of analysis damaged inner part main pump because of contamination hydraulic oil by water. The next step must be done replacement main pump overall (assy). The act of prevention done with prevent the occurrence of external leakage or internal leakage, and run daily check and preventive maintenance accordance with the procedure.
