Abstract
Each individual will definitely meet the need for the goods or products they need in accordance with the grocery list. But if the purchase is to shop for merchandise that is only to fulfill his desire to be emotionally and and done impulsively, shopping becomes unnatural. Purchases made without a plan and suddenly are impulsive purchases. One factor is the self-control of the Impulsive purchase. The purpose ofthis study are: 1) To determine the relationship between selfcontrol with impulsive purchases of online fashion products on female students. 2) To knowthe level of self-esteem in female students. 3) To know the level of impulsive purchases. 4) To know the effective contribution of self-control with impulsive purchases of fashion products online to female consumers. The population of this study are students of Psychology Faculty of University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta from generation 2013,2014,2015 and 2016 amount 624 person. The sample in this study coedaged 18-21 year samounted to 100 people. The sampling technique uses incidental sampling. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: 1) there is a very significant negative relationship between self-control with impulsive purchases in female students. 2) the level of self control is high. 3) impulsive purchasingrate slow. 4) Effective contribution of self control to impulse purchasingat female studentsis 40,07%. This means that 59.93% of other factors influence impulsive purchases such as motivation, age, occupation.
