Abstract
Nanotechnology is the manufacture and use of materials or devices at very small sizes. This material or device is in the realm of 1 to 1000 nm. This research uses bamboo charcoal as a nano particle making material. Establishment of bamboo charcoal nanoparticle test particles using top-down method. This study aims to study the mechanical collision cycle on particle size and see the visualization of bamboo charcoal particles. The study was conducted by varying the number of collisions of 2,3,4 million cycles of impact. Furthermore, Particle Size Analyzer was tested, the result of Particle Size Analyzer test showed bamboo charcoal particle size on 2 million cycles particle size test 420,5 nm, 3.4 million impact cycles showed size 332,6 nm and 698,8 nm. Next is Scanning Electron Microscope testing to see the visualization of the bamboo charcoal particles and the composition of the bamboo charcoal particles
