Abstract

The purpose of the research to, (1) Identify the prefix form in header of Solopos newspaperson December 2016 edition as ateaching materials of Indonesian language in the high school.(2) describe the level of misuse of prefixon the headerof Solopos newspapers on December 2016 edition as a teaching materials of Indonesian language in the high school.Data collection techniques in this study is a technique to refer and record.Data analysis technique used in this research is matching method.Matching method is a method which the speakers are outside, regardless, and not part of the language.The results of this study were (1) there are sevenprefix forms are contained in the header of Solopos newspapers,namely (a) me-, (b) di-, (c) ber-, (d) pe-, (e) ter-, (f) se-, and (g) ke-.The majority of the data found there are 45 data using prefixber-.(2) The meaning of prefix in the headline of Soloposnewspapers are 'through', 'seeing', 'forbid', 'closed', 'made', 'given', 'valid', 'stop', 'especially' ',amount', and 'during'.However, the commonly used prefix meaning are 'ber-' and ' me-'.
