Abstract

Environment is one of the factors that affect the teaching and learning activities because the environment can be interpreted as a place or means to study science so that the existence of good environmental conditions can make the learning process well as well. This study aims to describe the implementation of teaching and learning activities as well as obstacles gained. This research is a quantitative research with non experimental design or survey. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the learning process and environment activity have contribution from one to another as follows: from observation result of indicator of physical environment as a whole have been fulfilled and very role in teaching and learning process while for non physical indicator still exist which not yet Fulfilled one of the community environment that disturbs students while learning. For the results of the interview as a whole is the environment is very contribute in teaching and learning process. Hypothesis test results both t test and Freg test is shown by the correlation coefficient of 0.53 is greater than the table value of r either on tariff 5% or 1% ie rxy = 0.53> t 0.5 (1:28) = 0.377 and rxy = 0.53. T 0.1 (1 = 28) = 0.496 with the result show that t test is bigger than t table, either at 1% level or 5% for Freg test result Freg = 10,48> Ft 0.5 (1: 28) = 4.20 and Freg = 12,65> Ft 0.1 (1:28) = 7.64, the result shows that Freg is greater at Ft at either 1% or 5% this means the research hypothesis has been made acceptable. 36% effective contribution and 64% relative contribution.
