Abstract

Background Currently striking health problem for women worldwide is cervical cancer. Patient with cervical cancer increased every years, which is usually too late because of the lack of early detection led to many patient with cervical cancer undergoing chemotherapy. Cervical cancer can lead to mortality and morbidity, so it can reduce the quality of life of them. Objective The aim of the study to determine the relationship of compliance undergoing chemotherapy with quality of life in patients with cervical cancer in RSUD Dr. Moewardi Methods Type of This research is quantitative with descriptive correlation research design and using cross-sectional method. The population of this study is all cervical cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy in RSUD dr. Moewardi. The population on January 2017 there were 107 people with samples 52 respondents by accidental sampling, instrumental in this study using EORTC QLQ C-30 questionnaires and medical record to collect patient compliance, with data analysis is chi square. Result The result of this study compliance undergoing chemotherapy with the quality of life in patients with cervical cancer is mostly compliance, quality of life in patients with cervical cancer undergoing chemotherapy is high + moderate. Conclusion There was relationship between compliance undergoing chemotherapy with quality of life in patients with cervical cancer in RSUD dr. Moewardi with p value 0.001 <0.05.
