Abstract

Contact dermatitis is inflammation on the skin ( epidermis and dermis ) as a response to the influence of exogenous factors ( external ) and endogenous or internal factors. Based on preliminary survey in a mill know 60 % complaints of them experienced a disease of the skin on the hands with personal hygiene that is less and as many as 60 % work eight hours per day. The purpose of analyze relationships personal hygiene and long working with disease dermatitis tofu factory mojosogo urban districts Jebres Surakarta. The kind of research used is research observational analytic , design cross sectional. The sample techniques used is a technique sampling saturated / total of sampling the research with a population of about 44 people with sample used include all factory workers know their krajan rw 03 rt 03 were 44 workers who work the study. The results of the fisher’s exact test showed p value of 0,001>0.05 which means ho rejected and there were a significant relation exists between personal hygiene with disease dermatitis and p value of 0,603<0,05 which means ho welcome is no link between old workings with disease dermatitis tofu factory krajan mojosongo their village in jebres surakarta. Advice for the owner know and health agencies to be more for their workers to increase productivity in working.
