Abstract

Research entitled “Analysis of Internal Control of local govermnet in the region of Central Java. (Empirical study on District/Municipal government in the Province of Central Java 2011-2013).The purpose of this study was to examine the size of the local government, economic growth, regional income, complexity and capital expenditures to internal control weaknesses. Population in this study is the district and provincial city of Central Java totaling 35 districts/cities. Data used in this research is secondary data obtained from www.bpk.go.id, www.bps.go.id, and www.djpk.go.id. Methods of data analysis using regression analysis. Based on the result of analysis show that the variable size of local government, the complexity, dab capital expenditure significantly affect internal control weaknesses. While variable PAD and economic growth does not affect the internal control weaknesses.
