Abstract

This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 2 Kartasura. Learning to use strategies in the material Role playig trade between regions. Data collection techniques gained through observation and tests. Role Playing on the strategic use of class VII G and H as the experi mental class VII and VII first with conventional learning. The purpose of this study is to uncover pengguanan Role Playing strategies to improve student learning outcomes. The results showed under this strategy is effective in improving student learning outcomes. Effectiveness can be seen from the average value of the value pretest students that the experimental class increased 53.43% to 77.18% at 56.67%pretest posttest and the value of the control group increased to 74.67% on the posttest. It is proved that an increase in the use of strategies Role Playing, because learning outcomes over Ketuntutasan Minimum Criteria (KKM) is 70. Although the comparison is a little but the use of Role Playing strategy can be said to be effective compared with conventional methods.
