Abstract

The research aims to (1) assess the effectiveness of instructional materials learning guide books Kebupaten Klaten disaster in earthquake disaster through jigsaw strategy in SMK N 1 Tulung. (2) Know the difference instructional materials learning guide books kebencanan Klaten regency in the earthquake through a jigsaw strategy in learning outcomes in SMK N 1 Tulung. Methods of experimental research with pre-experimental design disigns (nondesigns), with type one-group pretest-posttest design experiments. The population comprised 34 students learning and teaching techniques and classroom communication network experimental class X 1, while 18 students are students of extracurricular activities disaster preparedness school class X experimental class 2. The second experiment class using teaching materials on disaster learning guides Klaten regency in the earthquake through jigsaw strategy. (1) The results of experimental class learning enhancement experimental class 1 and 2 using paired sample t test of 0.00, meaning there is a significant increase in the experimental class 1 and class 2 after given experimental treatment that is said to be effective. experimental class 1 pretest value increased 59.70 and 16.18 into 75.88 posttest experimental class 2 increases the value pretest 63.88 16.68 into 80.56. (2) Test different independent sample t test experimental class 1 and class 2 postest experiments at 0,225. The results showed no significant difference between the experimental class 1 and 2 experiments due to get equal treatment. Judging from the difference between the average value posttest experimental class 1 and class 2 experiment at 4.68, the average value posttest experimental class 1 at 75.88 while the average value posttest experimental class 2 at 80.56.
