Abstract
Impeller is an important part of a centrifugal pump, which serves to rotate the water resulting centrifugal force, and the force will produce a suction force and a compressive force on pump. Aim planning to get a centrifugal pump impeller design. Unknown pump capacity of 58 liters / second, the total pumping head 70 m, pump rotation 2950 rpm, it can be determined a specific speed, impeller type, and size of the main impeller. From the planning obtained impeller type of high speed, the diameter of the impeller 37 mm, neck diameter 45 mm, length of hub 74 mm, diameter inlets 140 mm, an outer diameter of 280 mm, the width of the passage entrance 26 mm, the width of the passage exit 13 mm angle of entry impeller (β1) 13,72o, impeller exit angle (β2) of 26o and the number of blades 7 pieces.
