Abstract

Faradila Kustandari/A310120119. NAMING A NEW CULINARY PRODUCT AS LEARNING MATERIALS FOR GRADE X OF SMK NEGERI 8 SURAKARTA. Skripsi. Faculty of Teacher Training and ducation. Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. June, 2016 A name constructed from items that have a different context so as to form a single unity of meaning. Sourced from ulinary cuisine or cooking related products and gastronomic or culinary, so that consumption patterns can be absorbed as a given practice of comsumption or practice based on consumption of food/dish. The purpose of this research was to know about (1) the name of the new form of culinary products, (2) meaning of denotative and connotation in the new culinary product naming, and (3) the development of learning materials for grade X of SMK Negeri 8 Surakarta. The method of data collection techniques by observe, note, and record techniques. The data were analyzed by Agih technique with advanced replace and expand techniques. The results showed that (1)a new form of culinary products namely process of how to eat, owner, taste, enjoy, place and process color to the element of novelty there are 24 new culinary product name. New element found on the culinary is an extension of the existing old items. (2) the denotation and connotation meaning on culinary products namely denotation and connation of meaning on the 24 names of foods. (3)Indonesia language learning of the curriculum 2013 for grade X of SMK Negeri 8 Surakarta can use learning materials in the form of the fried rice crazy text. The use of the name this gives a new atmosphere in the context of the present. Keywords: culinary name, denotation meaning, connotation meaning, and learning.
