Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect intensity of learning and activity of students in a lesson on learning outcomes of students' social studies Economics. This research is quantitative research with associative approach that examine the relationship between variables. The study population was all students of class XI IPS regular program of SMA Negeri 3 Wonogiri force 2015/2016 totaling 141 students. Samples taken as many as 100 students. The sampling technique using simple random sampling by means of a lottery. The data collection technique using a questionnaire that has been diujicobakn beforehand and tested for validity and reliability test. Data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis, t-test, F, R2 test, as well as the relative contribution and effective. The results showed that: (1) The intensity of learning a positive effect on learning outcomes IPS Economy class XI IPS SMA Negeri 3 Wonogiri in the academic year 2015/2016. The results of the regression analysis obtained tcount> t table (7.572> 1.980) with a p-value = 0.000 accepted at significance level of 5%. Contributions intensity of learning on student learning outcomes IPS economy amounted to 43.6%; (2) Activities of students in subjects positive effect on learning outcomes IPS Economy class XI IPS SMA Negeri 3 Wonogiri in the academic year 2015/2016. The results of the regression analysis obtained tcount> t table (4,333> 1,980) with a p-value = 0.000 accepted at significance level of 5%. Contributions activity of students in a lesson on learning outcomes Economic IPS students is 21.8%; (3) The intensity of learning and student activity in subjects positive effect on learning outcomes IPS Economy class XI IPS SMA Negeri 3 Wonogiri in the academic year 2015/2016. This is evident from the results of the F test analysis who received grades of F> F table (91.684> 3.07) at the 5% significance level. Overall variable intensity influence learning and student activity in subjects accounted for 65.4% of the students' learning outcomes Economic IPS.
