Abstract
EFFORTS TO IMPROVE THE ALIBILITY OF PERSONAL HYGIENE WITH THERAPEUTIC COMMUNICATION ON THE CLIENT SELF-CARE DEFICIT IN RSJD ARIF ZAINUDIN SURAKARTA Ramdhani, Arif Widodo D3 Nursing Program Faculty Of Health Sciences University Of Muhammadiyah Surakarta Jl. Ahmad Yani, Tromol Pos 1, Pabelan Kartasura Email ramdhanigus@gmail.com Abstracts Background: Self care is one of the basic human capacity to meet their needs in order to sustain life, health and well-being in accordance with the conditions of health, self-care deficit is one of the problems that arise in clients with mental disorders, clients with mental disorders often suffer the indifference of taking care of themselves, of the four issues nursing rsjd arif zainudin surakarta The most common is the problem of self-care deficit, as many as 1,026 people (100%) had a deficit of self-care clients. Objective: Authors can understand nursing care in patients with a diagnosis of self-care deficit in ward Sena RSJD Arif Zainudin Surakarta Methods: The method used is descriptive case study approach, is to perform nursing care in patient self-care deficit ranging from assessment, intervention, implementation and evaluation of nursing. Results: After 3x24 -hour nursing care for patients with self-care deficit problem of lack of self care hygiene/bath, dressed/decorated , eat, defecate and urinate resolved and the intervention is stopped. Conclusion: The fourth problem is resolved nursing, but will necessitate further treatment and cooperation with other medical teams, clients and families that are indispensable for the success of nursing care . The influence of therapeutic communication therapy to increase the ability of personal hygiene before and after the intervention. Recommended for client self-care deficit nursing as an independent action.
