Abstract
The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of playing role method on the linguistic intelligence of children in group B in TK Dharma Wanita Kedungguwo, Sukomoro, Magetan the academic year 2015/2016. This research method was an experiment with the type of one group pretest-posttest, accompanied by hypothesis testing. Subject in this research was children in group B in TK Dharma Wanita Kedungguwo, Sukomoro, Magetan academic year 2015/2016 amounting to 12 children. Data collection techniques gained was through observation guidelines. Technique analysis Data was using descriptive and inferential analysis. Descriptive analysis was used to determine the status of linguistic intelligence of children before and after the experiment. Inferential analysis to test the hypothesis by using T test in SPSS 16 for windows that was Paired samples t-test. Based on the analysis of the results obtained by using a t- test value tcount = -13.414 and ttable = -1.796 with probability = 0.000 <α = 0.05, then Ho was rejected, which meant there were the effect of playing role method to the linguistic intelligence of children in group B in TK Dharma Wanita Kedungguwo academic year 2015/2016.
