Abstract

This research aims to advance the craft industry in Sub Jebres Surakarta, crafts include making a bird cage, furniture making, manufacture of slippers slop, making bags and manufacture blangkon.Hasil this study as structuring and execution of information to be developed on the craft industry in Sub Jebres Surakarta to be more advanced and developed. The method used in this study is the k-means cluster method that classifying industries - industries with similar characteristics. Respondents used is as much as 22 craft industry, in data analysis using SPSS 16.0 software. The results of the processing of SPSS showed that the number of products per month that has a very big difference between the others. And the result of this grouping consists of 2 cluster, the first cluster there are 21 handicraft industry and the second cluster there is one craft industry.
