Abstract

Background: Fracture is break of bone structure. Fracture metacarpal is broken metacarpal bone caused by direct injury to the hand. The problems that Physiotherapy can be found in such cases that motion tenderness and pain the M. flexor digiti minimi, spasm of the muscle of the M. flexor digiti minimi and M. abductor digiti minimi brevis dextra, , limited range of motion (LGS) metacarpophalangeal, and measuring flexor and extensor muscle strength metacarpal V Methods: Physiotherapy methods used in the case that the modality of infrared, massage, and exercise therapy, and pain was evaluated by measurement methods (VDS), mucle strength (MMT), and measurement the range of motions Goneo meter.Objective: To know the benefits of exercise therapy modalities in relieving pain, reducing muscle spasm, increase muscle strength, improve range of motions. Result: After 6 time treatment showed a decrease in motion spasm and pain, and increase in the flexor and extensor mucle strength metacarpal, increased range of motion metacarpophalangeal.Conclusion: In the case of the provisions exercise modality therapy can reduce pain and muscle spasm, can increase range of motions, muscle strength.
