Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine: 1) The effect of socio-economic status of parents against the interest in entrepreneurship. 2) Effect of independent attitude toward interest in entrepreneurship. 3) The influence of the socio-economic status of parents and independent attitude toward interest in entrepreneurship. This research is descriptive quantitative research with a conclusion through statistical analysis. The population in this study were all students of education majoring in Accounting force 2011/2012. Samples taken as many as are 123 students. The necessary data obtained through questionnaires and documentation. Questionnaire previously tested and tested for validity and reliability test. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, F test, t-test, R2, and the relative contribution and effective. Results of regression analysis to obtain the regression line equation: Y = 22.161 + 0, 450 X1 + 0, 214 X2. The equation shows that interest in entrepreneurship is influenced by socio-economic status of parents and independent attitude. The conclusions drawn are: 1) "There is the influence of socio-economic status of parents and independent attitude toward interest in entrepreneurship" is acceptable. It is based on multiple linear regression analysis of variance (F test) is known that F count> F table, namely 20.213> 3.070 and the significance value <0.05, namely 0.000. 2) "There is the influence of socio-economic status of parents of interest in entrepreneurship" is acceptable. It is based on multiple linear regression analysis (t-test) is known that t count> t table, namely 6.106> 1.980 and the significance value <0.05, namely 0.000 with the effective contribution of 45.8%. 3) "There are influences independent attitude toward interest in entrepreneurship" is acceptable. It is based on multiple linear regression analysis (t-test) is known that t count> t table, namely 2,650> 1,980 and the significance value <0.05, namely 0.009 with the effective contribution of 6.2%. 4) The result of the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.520 indicates that the influence of socio-economic status of parents and independent attitude together to the interest in entrepreneurship student of economic education accounting University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta class of 2011 was 52%, while 48% were influenced by other variables not examined.
