Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) the influence of students' perception of the teaching profession to the interest to be a teacher there are students of class XII in SMA Negeri 1 NALUMSARI; 2) the influence of family environment on an interest to become a teacher in class XII students in SMA Negeri 1 NALUMSARI; 3) influence students' perception of the teaching profession and family environment influence on the interest became a teacher at the high school students of class XII STATE 1 NALUMSARI. This research is a quantitative associative. Population in this research is all class XII students majoring in science and social studies totaling 127 students. Results from the analysis of data obtained by the linear regression line equation Y = 8.883 + 0,579X1 + 0,220X2. The conclusion that can be drawn from this research are: 1) no significant influence students' perception of the teaching profession to the interest of a teacher in class XII students in SMA Negeri 1 NALUMSARI. Based on t test was obtained, t count> t table is 6.356> 2.281 (α = 5%) and a significance value <0.05 is 0,000; 2) No significant effect on the family environment of interest to become a teacher in class XII students in SMA Negeri 1 NALUMSARI. Based on t test was obtained, thitung> ttabel yaiu 2.398> 2.281 (α = 5%) and a significance value <0.05 is 0.019; 3) there is significance influence students' perception of the teaching profession and family environment on an interest to become a teacher in class XII students in SMA Negeri 1 NALUMSARI. Based on test results obtained Fhitung F> Ftable is 22.914> 3.102 at significance level of 5%; 4) the variable X1 relative contribution of 55.1% and the effective contribution of 30.4%, varibael X2 relative contribution of 3.9% and the effective contribution of 4.4%. R2 calculation results obtained 0.348 means 34.8% interest in becoming a teacher affected by the students' perception of the teaching profession and the family environment, the remaining 65.2% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
