Abstract

Drug Related Problems (DRPs) didefinisikan sebagai kejadian atau keadaan yang benar-benar atau berpotensi bertentangan dengan hasil kesehatan yang diinginkan. DRPs dapat mendorong ke arah farmakoterapi yang tidak efektif dan dapat menyebabkan kematian atau keadaan tidak sehat yang berhubungan dengan obat. DRPs juga dapat terjadi di Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya kasus DRPs kategori dosis lebih, dosis kurang pada pasien rawat di Intensive Care Unit Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Dr. Moewardi Surakarta periode tahun 2007. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian non eksperimental dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Tahap pertama adalah tahap penelusuran dan pengumpulan data secara retrospektif. Data diperoleh dari bagian Rekam Medik Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Dr. Moewardi Surakarta periode Tahun 2007. Data yang diambil yaitu diagnosis penyakit, berat badan (BB), tinggi badan (TB), usia, jenis kelamin, beberapa keluhan yang dialami pasien, dan obat yang diberikan kepada pasien. Tahap kedua adalah tahap pengolahan data tentang pasien dan pengobatannya. Data pasien diolah dalam bentuk tabel dan persentase untuk mengetahui angka kejadian DRPs kategori dosis lebih, dosis kurang, dan obat salah. Hasil penelitian ditemukan adanya kasus DRPs kategori dosis lebih, dosis kurang sebanyak 15 kasus atau 2,24% dari 669 item obat. DRPs dosis lebih sebanyak 7 kasus atau 46,67% dari DRPs total. DRPs dosis kurang sebanyak 8 kasus atau sebesar 53,33% dari DRPs total. Kata kunci : Drug Related Problems, Intensive Care Unit, Dosis Lebih, Dosis Kurang ABSTRACT Drug Related Problems (DRPs) is defined as a situation or occurrence that have potency to oppose against the result of health. DRPs lead to the ineffective pharmacotherapy and causes morbidity or death related to the drug. DRPs also could happen in Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This Research aims to find out the existence of DRPs case categorize over dose, under dose at take care patient in Intensive Care Unit at Dr. Moewardi Surakarta Hospital year period 2007. The type of this research is non eksperimental research with the descriptive approach. Firstly, the exploration and data collected by retrospektif. The data are obtained from the medical record at Dr. Moewardi Surakarta Hospital Year period 2007. The data are taken in diagnosed disease, weight of body (BB), height of body (TB), age, gender, some natural sigh from patient, and drug given by patient. Secondly the data processing phase about patient and its medication. The data Patient processed in the form of tables and percentage to know the number of occurrences the DRPs categorize over dose and under dose. The result of this research is found that the existence of DRPs case categorize over dose and under dose are counted 13 case or 1,94% from 669 drug item. Over dose DRPs counted 7 case or 53,84% from total DRPs. Under dose DRPs counted 6 case or equal to 46,15% from total DRPs.
