Abstract
Telemedicine usage is increasingly developing as a solution to improve access and efficiency in healthcare services, especially in this digital age. A preliminary study at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, showed that students have begun utilizing telemedicine services, such as Halodoc and Alodokter, to meet their healthcare needs. This study aims to analyze students' perceptions and experiences with the use of telemedicine. The research approach used in this study is qualitative with a phenomenological method, allowing the researcher to explore the subjective meanings held by students regarding their experiences using telemedicine services. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with 15 students selected using purposive sampling. The results show that telemedicine is perceived by students as an efficient, safe, and accessible healthcare service. However, there are still some challenges, such as limited consultation duration, technical issues with the app, and additional costs. Social support from friends, family, and the university also plays a role in encouraging the use of telemedicine services. Data analysis was assisted by the software NVivo 12 to facilitate data organization and the grouping of relevant themes. This study concludes that despite the challenges, students at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, are ready to adopt telemedicine in future healthcare practices
