Abstract
Land use is an activity of human intervention either permanently or temporarily with the aim of meeting their needs by considering the condition and location of the land. A garden itself can be defined as a plot of land designated for planting seasonal trees, especially for fruit. Salak plantations are an agricultural sector in Sleman Regency, one of which is in the Turi District area. Currently, the land use of salak plantations is changing to other land uses. The main factor in this change in land use is that the price of salak is cheaper than the price of horticultural crops, so it is unable to improve the economy of the local community. Changes in the use of salak plantation land certainly need to be studied to help the community and government maintain the agricultural sector of salak plantations in Turi District, so the aim of this research is 1) analyze the distribution of changes in salak land use and the factors that influence it in Turi District, Sleman Regency in 2015 and 2023. 2) analyze the distribution pattern of changes in salak land use in Turi District, Sleman Regency in 2015 and 2023. This research was carried out with the help of several Secondary data includes, among others, 2015 and 2023 sentinel-2A imagery for Yogyakarta Special Region Province and land use data. The method used in this research uses the on screen digitization method to identify the type of land use, interviews to determine the influencing factors and nearest neighbor analysis to identify distribution patterns of land use changes. The first step taken was to analyze the type of land use in 2015 and 2023 using sentinel 2A imagery, then an overlay was carried out between the digitized results of land use in 2015 and 2023 so that changes in land use in salak plantations were known. Data on changes in salak plantation land use were then subjected to ANN analysis with the aim of determining distribution patterns. Based on the results of data processing, this research states that the change in land use of salak plantations in Turi District in 2015 and 2023 is 174 ha. This change is very significant in Bangunkerto Village, because the village is currently turning into rice plantations. The distribution pattern of land use for salak plantations in Turi District is based on research results, namely that it has a clustered distribution pattern which has a value of T = 0 – 0,7
