Abstract
In facing the transition from the academic world to the world of work, final students are often faced with various challenges and concerns, including concerns about entering the world of work. One of the factors that influence anxiety in facing the world of work is social support and self-efficacy. This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and self-efficacy on anxiety in facing the world of work in final students of the Faculty of Psychology, Surakarta Muhammadiyah University. This study uses quantitative methods with correlational types. The research subjects used were 102 respondents. The research instruments used were social support scale, self-efficacy scale and anxiety scale in facing the world of work. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression which obtained the results of the correlation coefficient (R) of 0.275, the difference index value (F) of 4.053, and the significance level (p) of 0.20 (p <0.05) which means that there is a significant relationship between social support, self-efficacy, and anxiety in entering the world of work. The results showed that respondents had a high level of anxiety, which amounted to 72.5%. Furthermore, social support and self-efficacy provide an effective contribution of 7.6% to anxiety in entering the world of work.
