Abstract
The Triyagan Watershed (DAS Triyagan) is one of the watersheds contributing to the river discharge in the Bengawan Solo Watershed. The Triyagan Watershed covers an area of 15.9 km² with a main river length of 22.1 km. This watershed extends from the Karanganyar District in Karanganyar Regency to its downstream location in the Mojolaban District of Sukoharjo Regency. The Triyagan Watershed frequently experiences flooding. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the reduction in flood discharge if a retention basin is constructed. The initial stage of the analysis involves data collection, which includes DENMAS maps and rainfall data from three rain stations over a period of 15 years: Gayamdompo, Silamat, and Mojolaban. Subsequently, mapping of flow areas, catchment areas, and the calculation of areal rainfall are performed. To achieve a clearer depiction of discharge, an analysis of the hydrograph using the Nakayasu method with a 20-year return period for flood control is conducted based on the obtained areal rainfall. The hydrograph analysis indicates a maximum discharge of 94.03 m³/s. The next step involves flood routing over a distance of 4.7 km upstream of the river's downstream end, where the retention basin will be located. It is planned that the inlet gate can accommodate a discharge of 30 m³/s under steady flow conditions, with a height difference of 47 cm between the side weir and the river water surface. After implementing flood control with the retention basin, a reduction in the river water surface elevation of 53 cm is achieved. The analysis is conducted manually under steady flow conditions.
