Abstract
The construction of large multi-story buildings typically involves a project team with expertise in project management, tasked with monitoring, controlling, and participating in the project. This team acts as the on-site project consultant, and construction management consultants play a crucial role from planning through to execution. However, project monitoring has its weaknesses. This study aims to identify factors that, according to construction management consultants, influence the construction of multi-story buildings and to determine which factors are most critical for the success of such projects. Seventeen respondents, all employed by construction management consulting firms, participated in the study. The analytical method used was multiple regression analysis with SPSS software. Conducting regression analysis requires performing classical assumption tests. Additionally, t-tests and F-tests were also necessary. The results indicate that labor, materials, equipment, management, and finances have a significant impact on project success. According to the results, the most important variable based on regression analysis is materials, with a positive regression coefficient of 0.533. This implies that an increase in material conditions leads to a 0.533 increase in project success, indicating that materials have the greatest impact on project success.
